I am a Licensed and Board Certified Occupational Therapist with additional Board Certification in Pediatrics and an Advanced Practice Certification in Swallowing Assessment, Evaluation, and Intervention. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in The Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania in 2012 and my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 2014. In 2015, I completed the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) Fellowship through the Regional Autism Center at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Founder of Reach Occupational Therapy

I have extensive experience in evaluating and implementing interventions to support children’s self-care, feeding and eating, fine motor and visual motor development, and sensory processing skills. I regularly collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams and families to provide individualized, child-specific recommendations. I have also attended and presented various courses and workshops on topics such as child development, feeding and swallowing, torticollis and plagiocephaly, sensory integration, play skills, social skills, autism spectrum disorder, and other developmental and physical disabilities.

My clinical work places a strong emphasis on feeding and swallowing, including infant bottle feeding, introduction to solids, cleft palate, dysphagia management, and addressing feeding challenges such as picky eating. I am specifically trained in several evidence-based approaches, including the S.O.S Approach to Feeding, SOFFI® Method, Solid Starts PRO Certified, Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, and The Zones of Regulation. Additionally, I hold a Basic DIRFloortime® Certificate and provide consultation to families and therapists on using the DIRFloortime® relationship-based approach to support children’s development.

Throughout my career, I have developed a strong commitment to advocating for children with limited access to physical and mental health services. It is my long-term goal to establish a program offering pro bono occupational therapy services for underserved children.
